Hi everyone, Laurel Mintz here with Elevate My Brand. Today I want to talk about how working with a marketing agency can actually save you money.
Hire for Expertise
Whether you’re a small, medium, or enterprise-sized brand, it’s really important to work with experts. So tip number one in terms of working with an agency is really thinking thoughtfully about how much time, effort, and energy it would take for you to learn the thing you would hire an agency to do. So if that’s advertising for example, if you need to learn how to advertise on Google and really how to optimize your ads there, think about all the time, effort, and money you would save calling an agency that has expertise and certification within that category.
Save Your Time
Now that’s just on the expert side, but there are so many ways that we save you time and money and energy more than anything. And I always say what is the best and highest use of your time as a founder or as a member of the C suite team or as a member of the team in general. We actually work with a ton of companies within their marketing teams to focus on a specific area of expertise that they don’t have.
Make Your Money Count
But from a business owner to another business owner, it’s important to think about saving time in terms of personnel. All of the expense that you would spend on the hiring process, making sure you’re training that person to come into your company, making sure that they are in fact an expert in that category, again that’s all time, effort and energy that you would save by hiring externally for an expert or an agency team. Same thing on taxes, same thing on healthcare. You know, all of those things that are required when you hire someone in-house versus outsourcing it is a really important part of that overarching conversation.

The other thing I’ll say is that there is so much new software, so many new evolutions within each of these categories coming up every single day, hiring a team whose focus is to really understand marketing on all of these different channels, it’s going to save you so much time, effort, and headache. I mean we’ve all been victim to the algorithmic challenges and changes for Facebook, Instagram, and Google, and I know my team has worked overtime to make sure that they know how to manage that on behalf of the clients.
So it’s not just a cost and time savings because you’re hiring in-house, but it's a cost and time savings because you’re actually hiring experts who understand the software, understand the nuances, and really can get down to the meat of what’s going to be successful for your particular business.
